Shopify Modern Furniture Store

Problem

High-end furniture e-commerce carries expectations a stock Shopify theme doesn't meet. The bar is set by category leaders like Crate & Barrel: deep navigation across rooms, collections, materials, and styles; products that come in real dimension matrices, not a single dropdown; white-glove delivery expectations; gift registries; and seasonal campaign merchandising. The store needed that standard designed and actually built, mobile-first, on Shopify.

Solution

DuskByte designed the complete experience in Figma, a 12-column atomic design system with Shopify-compatible components, and then developed it on Shopify Liquid. The build carries real functional depth: a multi-dimensional variant matrix (four sizes × three depths × 219 fabric options on a single sofa, with up to 23 images per listing); ZIP-code-based in-home delivery estimation that returns a real delivery-date window with placement, assembly, and packaging removal included and a flat rate across multi-item orders; collection pages with filtering by color, price, category, size, certification, and product features, with stock counts and multiple sort orders; expandable Materials, Shipping & Returns, Care, and Dimensions tabs; "The Design Desk" free design-consultation flow; a gift registry; and seasonal campaign sections for Black Friday-style merchandising.

Outcome

A fully functional storefront running on a Shopify development store. Every flow was verified working end to end, benchmarked against the UX of a leading national furniture retailer, plus the complete design package: final Figma file, clickable prototype, video walkthrough, and developer-ready handoff. The store runs on a demo catalog, so we present build quality here, not sales metrics. There are none to claim, and we won't invent them.
